Re-elect Lydia Green for Democratic State Committee Member on June 25th
-
State Committee Member, or District Leader, is an unpaid position within the NYS and Brooklyn Democratic Parties. While District Leaders can't pass legislation, they do have a say over the inner workings of the party, judicial elections, and staffing of the Board of Elections. The District Leader position also has the potential to organize local communities and grow the party, which will be Lydia’s focus when elected to the role. You can read more about the position of District Leader here.
