Elect Lydia Green to the New York State Assembly on June 23rd

  • Lydia is running to win genuine progress that makes our communities whole, including:

    • Taxing the rich so that we can fully fund public schools and universal childcare.

    • Building more homes (including permanently affordable social housing) and protect tenants so that regular people can afford NYC.

    • Protecting our district from the climate crisis so that future generations can live here too.

  • District Leader, or State Committee Member, is an unpaid position within the NYS and Brooklyn Democratic Parties. While District Leaders can't pass legislation, they do have a say over the inner workings of the party, judicial elections, and staffing of the Board of Elections. The District Leader position also has the potential to organize local communities and grow the party, which has been Lydia’s focus in the role. You can read more about the position of District Leader here.

  • Lydia is a 28-year-old bi Jewish woman, organizer, Democratic District Leader, & lifelong Brooklynite running for Assembly Member in the NYC Assembly District 52. Read More.
